Paint Our Town Purple

Clearfield Borough Council recently heard from Relay for Life of Central Clearfield County about their Paint Our Town Purple campaign May 21 through June 4and the Relay for Life event at the Clearfield Fairgrounds on June 4.

Clearfield Borough elected officials and staff encourage businesses, organizations, and individuals to display purple bows, ribbons, banners, lights, and all types of decorations to generate awareness for the Relay for Life and to support the event.

Mayor Mason Strouse issued an official proclamation in support of the Paint Our Town Purple campaign, stating “Relay for Life of Central Clearfield County provides an opportunity to celebrate people who have been touched by cancer, remember loved ones lost, and take action for lifesaving change.  Our former Mayor, Jim Schell, fought a long battle with cancer.  It is my honor to support events such as these in his memory.”
