Clearfield Borough is pleased to provide recycling services to Borough residents at the Clearfield Borough Recycling Center, located on Power Avenue.
Recycling Center Access
The Recycling Center enclosure requires a key fob for entry at all times, except during designated public access hours.
Fob access: Required at all times
Public (no fob required): Wednesdays from 6:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
Closed on holidays
Fobs are available to Clearfield Borough residents only and may be obtained at the Clearfield Borough Administration Office, 6 South Front Street, Clearfield, PA

Accepted Materials
The Recycling Center currently accepts the following materials:
Cardboard
Newspaper (no magazines)
Aluminum
Bi-metal (tin cans, etc.)
Clear glass
Brown glass
Green glass
Residential Curbside Recycling
Clearfield Borough provides residential curbside recycling for:
Aluminum cans
Bi-metallic cans
Most clear, green, and brown glass
Collection occurs on the first and third Tuesday of each month for Clearfield Borough residents.
Residents should contact the Borough Office to confirm participation in the curbside recycling program.
Commercial Recycling Requirements
Commercial establishments located within Clearfield Borough are independently required to recycle materials as set forth in the Borough’s recycling ordinance. A copy of the recycling ordinance may be obtained at the Clearfield Borough Administration Office.
